I've been avoiding this book since the first time I saw it on Goodreads because the title, blurb, and the COVER scream violence and death.

Actually, I was right about it being violent (just a little) but I was wrong for thinking that the story was going to be so terribly depressing and heartbreaking. The romance is a SURPRISE. It's very swoon-worthy and sweet in a way that's not sickening.

I LOVE IT.
